It cannot be altered to fire real ammunition.This is a nice vintage Hubley Smokey Joe cap gun set from the 1950's. Smokey Joe was a real western cowboy. There was even a TV western show with his name.The holster is marked Hubley and its in good shape for its age but it couls use a little stitching if you want but the holster pockets still hold the cap busters securely. This is a well made holster with conchos and is 29 inches long.Both guns are in great condition for their age, good plating and both fire strongly with a loud snap.
