Antique Ornate Metal Shield. exquisite piece with a lack of information about its history. The only other photo I found of one was an Ebay listing that's no longer posted that labeled it as Italian or German Medieval military parade shield. I'm not sure exactly what it is but it's beautiful. really old. Metal with etched design and decorated with gold tone lion's heads.

magnificent condition. Clearly remarkably old if you see photos. One of the leather straps on back is broken. Back is very rusty. Measures approximately 14.75" across.
